| Nothing says happy like a penguin with a bow tie. |
Hi guys, I direct your attention to the side bar below my bubba tank (have you fed my fishes today?).
I've added Tiff & Loks to the mix!
-
Tiff writes for PBR, and I'm a super fangirl, because how she blogs is exactly how she talks. If you know her you'd probably be able to hear the words in her voice.
'So, how have you been? I've been great. I would be better i I didn't have a lizard living in my room. I think I know where its secret hideout is - that little nook between my desk and my wall. Its like the nocturnal version of a rooster; it chuckles at 1am until I yell at it to shut up (and the best part? It actually listens to me).'
-
And I adore Rachel's livejournal, beguilebones. It's one of those blogs that I read and repeat the lines in my head, and cry/laugh. She's a really good writer, and I am embarrassed to say I've stalked all her posts.
'You've got to love thoughtcatalog. I love how it makes me feel like I'm not the biggest weirdo on Earth. Like I'm not all alone in this murky weirdness water.
It makes me feel just that little less sorry for myself that I'm so weird, and that I get people telling me to cheer up and to stop being emo just because it's physically impossible for me to maintain a tranquil "natural" look on my face without look completely spastic. Yes, I've tried un-furrowing my brows but hey partypeople, here's the scoop. I look a) retarded b) spastic c) ridiculous d) like I'm about to break into a psychotic rage fit thing.'
You see?
I thank the universe for blessing me with such awesome friends.
And also for (1) the boy at my college's computer help desk who randomly gifted me with Windows 7, and (2) the super smart friend who sat me down for an hour to tell me how to ace my interview.
I'm generally a very blessed girl. I should strive to be happy.
